Important Hotel Information

  • Sheraton is smoke-free. Sheraton request that guests refrain from smoking in all enclosed public areas at the resort, including the villas. The balcony and lanai of the villa, if so equipped, is a designated smoking area. In addition, the resort observes local and state smoking ordinances that may prohibit smoking in some public places.

    Good: close to Disney/Universal parks; has kitchen, washer/dryer; store/deli on site.Bad: 1-1/2 hours to get checked in; hard sell to each and every visitor about buying time-share; put into an older (unremodeled) unit.

    Fabulous condo, beautiful resort, clean, every detail covered. pools were great, lots of activities very accessible to all parks and restaurants. what a great week!!!!

    This was our first trip to Florida, and got this condo from a friend with a time share. So, let me pass on some helpful info. First, when you make your resvervations, put in a request for a renovated room. the only sections that havent been done yet are the Palms, Spas, and Springs. We stayed in the Fountains in a 2 room villa. Check in wasnt bad, took about 20 minutes, was offered a timeshare tour, but politly said no and didnt hear from them again the rest of the week (was really suprised about that). We asked for a crib to be sent to the room, and it was there beofre we got the car unladed along with a highchair and diaper pail. the room was amazing, had 3 flat screen TV's in it, along with all the amenities of home like a washer/dryer and fully equipt kitchen, and all of the staff was very friendly. We will absolutely be going back next year and will stay here. Location is great, Wal-Mart is about a mile down the road, and there are several resturants including Golden Corral on the same strip. If you see a vedor on the road selling Gator Jerky-stop and try it, it is really good!!

    Originally I booked a one bedroom villa at this hotel. I was extremely happy that I upgraded to a two bedroom villa. The two bedroom provided the right amount of space for me, my husband and our two small children. The villa was beautiful. Well decorated with quality furnishings, new appliances and great amenities. The hotel is in a great location. Near to Disney World & SeaWorld. It is also close to a SuperWalmart which was quite convenient. I recommend having a car at this resort. Resort grounds were clean and well maintained. Eventhough there were lots of kids at the resort, it was not noisy. The pool was nice but crowded. There were other pools at the resort but it was not entirely clear where they were. I was disappointed that the only room service available at the resort was fast food sandwiches. The front desk need to work on their "welcoming" skills. I arrived at about 9p.m. I told them I had a 6 month old child waiting to get to his room and get to bed. The front still wanted me to stand in line and wait for a packet that I did not need immediately. Overall a great resort. We will definitely be back.

    Overall, this was a great place. Check in was slow, but after declining the time share breakfast, everything moved quickly. We were in Cascades. Very clean and very secure. Taxi service through the hotel is great. Free shuttle service is a nightmare. Housekeeping comes late in the day (4:00). That was o.k. for us as we went to attractions almost every day. I would stay again, but won't ever take the free shuttle to Disney World.
