    I have had the pleasure of staying in a few exceptional hotels and I would rate this one as one of my best experiences. My daughter and I just returned from our first visit to the city. We booked a park view and was upgraded to a larger room with a city/park view. The staff was excellent and made us feel very special. Yes, anything you eat or drink at the hotel or in NYC is expensive just be prepared. Don't even open the fridge in the room to temp yourself! The big screen tv, the lighting under the sinks and night stands for during the night is wonderful (I want it at home now!) Surf the various travel sights for a few days at odd hours...you may get this room for a very reasonable rate. Worth working it a bit! Beds and pillows are the best!

    The Hotel was beautiful, kept very clean and has a friendly and helpful staff. It's located right across from Central Park and the access to many fine attractions is easy. The accommodations are nice and roomy.

    The location was excellent. Close to Central Park , museums, Boradway plays and Columbus Circle. My room had a single queen size bed and was clean and comfortable. Large screen TV. Doorman was able to hail me a taxi quickly each time. One downside was there were no coffee makers in the rooms so I had to order room service for morning coffee. There was a large safe in the room so I could lock up my laptop. Robes and slippers are provided for use during your stay. I liked that ice was brought to my room each night.

    I needed to book a room at the last minute and spent a little more than I wanted, but the room and location were great. You can pay more for a park view, I didn't and had a view of a construction site across the street. The hotel has a lot of little touches, hot towels at check-in, umbrellas, limo service, super nice bath towels, an automatic nightlight and a roomy room. The large flat screen tv was slow to react and took a long time to change channels. The lights were controlled by a touchscreen on the phone, and when you would adjust a setting, the lights would not always change. Overall, I would stay there again, but the price would probably deter me.
